Parc del Vaixell - Montgat

Located in the Pla de Montgat area and surrounded by pine trees, Parc del Vaixell is a lovely spot to relax while the little ones play

As the name suggests, Parc del Vaixell or ‘The Ship Park’ is all about a large wooden ship where kids can climb, imagine themselves as pirates, and go on adventures.

But that’s not all! The park also features:

  • A long zip line

  • Slides and swings (including tire swings)

  • Balancing structures

  • A sports court with a football goal, basketball hoop, and ping-pong tables

  • A picnic area with tables and benches—perfect for a snack break!

Visiting with kids

Parc del Vaixell is great for all ages, offering play areas for both younger and older children. The shaded spots under the pine trees make it an ideal choice for hot summer days.

It’s a popular birthday party location, though picnic tables are limited. If you have a foldable table, bringing your own is a good idea.

⚠️ Note: There are no toilets in the park, but facilities are available at the nearby Mercat de Montgat, along with bars and snack options.

Best time to go

The park is enjoyable year-round, but spring and autumn offer the best weather for outdoor play. Afternoons and weekends can get a bit busy, but there’s plenty of space for everyone to have fun.

In winter, it gets chilly after sunset, so visiting earlier in the day is best.

If you’re in Montgat and looking for a fun outdoor space where kids can climb, run, and explore while you relax in nature, Parc del Vaixell is well worth a visit! 🚢🌲
